hi all,

so I am going to point out the pink elephant in the room: its pretty obvious that my posting outside of my own locker has had a dampening effect on the overall flow of conversation that yall' would otherwise be having. Its a concern for me because I am here to be a resource, not to take over, and I am afraid that in certain respects I have, however unintentionally.

So, from this point forward until some compelling reason causes me to rethink the situation my participation on the lockers is going to be as follows:

-I will promptly respond to any postings on my own locker (and I encourage you to use it)

- I will not be leaving my comments in any other locker anymore unless:
a) I see that someone has posted and has not gotten any response after
a reasonable wait.
b) there is a particularly sensitive or dangerous issue that I feel genuinely
needs some specific input (in which I will try to be more brief)
c) a lockers user specifically asks for my input on a thread

this really is your site and I want to help, not overpower. so if I've fallen short on that mark I sincerely ask your forgivness

Oh, I find your advice very helpful. It's nicer to have advice from a mature point of view in contrast with some other... less mature points of views.

thank you. I will still be here and throwing in my thoughts, I just want to do it in a way that will also allow the site to work the way it should

Do you think you could reply to my thread? http://www.thelockers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4046

I think it would be great to have some adult's perspective.
