If you are so pro israel why do you live in america

I am so sick of Rabbis preaching to us in school about how much they love israel and acting so zionistic.....i have nothing against being zionistic but dont be so blatantly hypocritical.....MOVE TO ISRAEL YOU DIPS***.......anyone who reads this post promise that you will atleast put decent thought into making aliyah after highschool....if you dont make aliyah your parents wasted their money and if i was a parent and just spent 14 years of tuition for yeshiva and my kid stayed in america i would kill my child for being so disobediant. Stop talking....nobody wants to hear your political opinions about israel unless you dedicate yourself to israel and decide to make aliyah....the day after my graduation from highschool im making ALIYAH. I plan on joining the army and doing every thing possible to wipe away the scum who thinks they have the right to live in my land....i want to spread the measage.....america can say at any minute....we dont like the jews lets kill them.....go to israel where it belongs to you.....america is not where you belong and eventually american culture will be destroyed when they meddle with everyone else in the world and millions of bombs are simultaniously droped on the country.....stop living in this matrix-like sham you call america and get off your *** and make aliyah......

I know, theres the whole bnei akiva clan in various places that really just gets me annoyed of the steriotype. but besides for that - all the rabbis/teachers and stuff they do preach about aliyah and stuff, and its true- many of them go. But the ones who, dont-like its usually those young couples who just got married, have a bunch of money, are sweet and homogeneous as hell, and who live in one of the following: riverdale, teaneck, manhattan, passaic, 5 towns. You all know exactly the type- they are teachers at lots of our schools. point is, why are they here in this affluent part of our great nation? We are just here now b/c were born here. They had a choice to make aliyah and obviously didnt. whats with?

And i have it bad - ive never been to israel and am not going in the near future because of the "situation" mostly, and when i try to explain to my parents how we cant control who lives and dies and if God wants me to die in israel, i will die there and ive finished my life here, they start to cry. what to do??

dude, you need to calm down a little bit. First of all, a lot of rabbis at my school end up making aliyah a year or two after they start at the school, some have already served in tzahal, and others are planning to move to israel. Btw, I dont think you trying to wipe out the arabs will help anyone - it will only make things worse for the country. Take a deep breath, you have four years, and maybe then you will feel differently about it

I completely agree with you. After High School i am also moving to israel, hopefully going to the army and going to college there. I agree with you but i wouldnt kill my kid if they dont move there. The truth is that life in america money wise is better and thats why people stay here. People these days are more enticed by money than religion. Im gonna end with this. People now says that the reason that they dont want to move to israel is because it isnt safe. In response to this i say, "it was safe 5,6,7,8 years ago. You should have moved there then. Also, if you say that im not moving to israel because god will take me there when moshiach comes, i think you are missing the point because moshiach wont come unless we devote ourselves and to devote ourselves, we have to have a strong, strong passion for the land that god gave us and told us was OURS.

ok; about ur first comment saying that rabbis should move to israel and all that... eventually; they will move to israel - they are just trying to teach the jews about jewish culture and thats the point - the first step of being a rabbi is teaching the jewish people; if all rabbis moved to israel and jews stilled lived in america... they wouldnt kno anything about judiasm and eventually all the jews will hopefully move to isreal for massiach to come

rabbis arent just living in america to teach jews about judiasim. they too have fallen into the trap of complacency they have become to comfotable in america and dont want to amke aliyah bec its true life in israel is not as easy as in america. rabbis dont stay in america bec they ahve to teach jews about judiaism they stay for the same stupid and pathetic reaosn every other jew stays in america.
