I didn't see a place to post if you're new, to introduce yourself so I thought I'd do it here.
I'm not sure what to say now.
But...I'm the only Jewish kid in my school/town, and always have been. I'm surrounded by Baptists who don't even know what the word "kosher" means and I'm apparently going to Hell for not loving Jesus.
My mother died when I was 16. I am diagnosed as manic-depressive. I've been a cutter since I was 12. And so, you see, I'm insane lol.

Anyway, I just want to talk to other Jewish people until I can get out of this place and go to Israel or something.

not insane. ......... its so hard for me to imagine what it would be like to be the only jewish kid in town. that must be so difficult, but its amazing that even so you have such a strong jewish identity.

as for the whole 'no jews' and 'going to hell' thing ive totally been there. this one time i went to wegmans (HUGE grocery store) and asked if they had any gelt, and they thought i was talking about a vegetable xD

I don't notice my accent either until I go out of state and no one understands a thing I'm saying.

Sounds like ur a deep, caring and 'real' person - just right for The Lockers community! It also sounds like life has dished u ur share of hardship, and then some.

its really sad to hear about ur mom - a home w/o a mom can feel like a body without its heart.

the cutting is not the end of the world, but it def says that u have some pain that u can't get out by talking.

but talking is def something u can do here. reach out to any of us on any of the forums. say the stuff u never tell anyone else.
