i have been smoking so much weed the past 4 months now i can't even think about hitting a joint like i used to. its like my body automatically stops me from overdoing it for one day. but on the other hand for the past month i've been eating molly like twice a week and then after the night taking a oxy or the day after. it might be an escalation but for now i ahve been really good in controlling myself. In my opinion as long as a pesron doesnt let things get out of hand everything is kosher.

beyond the issue of 'drugs are bad' and all those strong positions, which i think everyone here knows and has heard, there is a more subtle idea that should always be respected.

many years ago a friend of mine who roamed from weed to molly to oxy and the like confessed to me a profound idea. he said:

when you get to a stage where you prefer that you are on something for the majority of your waking hours, you know without a doubt that you have a problem. at the very least, a person should prefer life on its own terms to a bent reality. as soon as we need/want our reality bent on the majority level, something is wrong.

i have found this idea to be very, very true.
